This is one of the best places(地方) to cool down in a heat wave. Visitors to the Zhangdu Lake Wetland(涨渡湖湿地) in Wuhan City, central China's Hubei Province can cruise(游览) through a forest(森林) in the water.

The water forest, which has over 10,000 pond cypresses(池柏), is one of the most famous sights(景观) at the wetland park. Visitors also can see roughly 135 breeds of birds(鸟) from the Asia Pacific region on their cruise.

Besides for the Yangtze River(扬子江), the 185-square-kilometer Zhangdu Lake wetland, a major location for migrating birds, plays a vital role in the ecology(生态) system(系统) of the city.
