Recently, the story of a 19-year-old Chinese woman has gone viral online in China. The young woman, named li Na, has been praised as the 'Most Beautiful Young Woman with Cancer' for her optimistic spirit and strong-willed efforts in fighting lung cancer.

li Na is only 19 years old, and caught the public's attention for her kindness in providing her hospital bed to a pregnant woman who urgently needed to receive an operation. li gave up her bed even though she had just been diagnosed with lung cancer a few days previously and also needed medical treatment.

Later, the young woman's story touched more and more people through the Internet. li was born in a village of Gaoling County in Xi'an, capital of northwest China's Shaanxi Province. When she was 12 years old, she was diagnosed with cancer on her right leg and had to have her leg amputated.

This optimistic woman later took part in the Shaanxi Province disabled persons' sports meeting and won a gold medal in table tennis.

li's life was yet still full of misfortune. When she was 17 years old, her mother passed away and her father became disabled in a traffic accident also that year. This August, li was found to have cancer in her lungs, which put even more pressure on this financially disadvantaged family.

But even with the unrelenting torture she has suffered while undergoing chemotherapy for the first time, this young woman still always faced her life with a smile and an optimistic will.

li's story touched so many people that her story and pictures were posted on September 10 on an influential Chinese website gongyi.qq.com, which is a public charity platform for raising social donations. In just two days, 219,121.40 yuan (U.S. $35,728.8) was donated through this charity platform, which will help with li's medical treatment.

li and her family are very thankful for people's help and they will insist on fighting the disease.
