Known as "porcelain capital," Jingdezhen in east China has a 2,000-year history of ceramic-making. Porcelain artworks produced here traveled around the world through the ancient Silk Road, an integral part of which was Central Asia.

Shovkat Shamuratov, an Uzbekistan student, made a trip to Jingdezhen to explore how porcelain has been connecting China and Central Asia.
