An exhibition is staged in central Beijing to showcase the culture and history of the city by way of "digital blind boxes."

The exhibition, named "The heart of Beijing: city mystery box," is held at Wangfujing, an iconic shopping street in downtown Beijing.

Blind boxes with various themes can be seen at the exhibition. At the "Chinese-chic box", visitors can experience XR real-time imaging technology by playing different roles through wearable devices.

"Leisure life of Beijing of digital interactive long roll" is a 15-meter-long interactive digital scroll displaying interesting traditional Beijing lifestyles.

Another blind box named "dream box" enables visitors to create digital paintings by themselves: If you draw a swallow kite, the blind box can make it fly out of a turret of the Forbidden City.
