Adventures on the New Silk Road I:Bridges and Roads of Cambodia

This episode tells the story of China Road & Bridge Corporation (CRBC) working in Cambodia to build the No. 76th Highway, the economic lifeline for local tourism connecting the capital of Phnom Penh to Angkor Wat, and the new Chrouy Changvar Bridge in Phnom Penh and the Tonle Bassac River Bridge in Kaoh Thum, Kandal. When it constructed these roads and bridges, the Chinese company also removed landmines. The completed bridge provides convenient transportation for the development of local tourism and freight economy. The construction of these projects provides a large number of job opportunities for the local community, and greatly facilitates mobility and economic development.
