Discovering oracle bone inscriptions, a 3,000-year-old Chinese script

   These are the earliest known form of Chinese writing. They seem utterly unintelligible to the untrained eye. But, after 3,000 years, these characters are shedding light on how the Chinese language came into being, revealing clues to the origins of one of the world's most difficult languages to learn.
