Dong Qi is a professional stamp designer and sculptor with the Postage Stamp Printing Bureau of China Post. At the moment, there are 10 sculptors working at the bureau, making it the largest team of its kind in the world. It’s also the youngest team in the world. There are fewer than 100 stamp sculptors globally.

Dong Qi has designed the stamp for “Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation,” engraved the “Olympics: From Beijing to London” postcard, designed the “60th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries” stamp, and has engraved “the Year of the Pig in 2019” stamp, through which she has helped to capture some of China's history through her designs. China’s stamps are like national business cards. They illustrate the country’s brilliant achievements and cultural confidence since the People’s Republic of China was founded 70 years ago.

Dong Qi’s book“Engraving Times” won a gold medal at China 2019 World Stamp Exhibition in Wuhan. She feels it is her responsibility to use words to record the precious history of these good works.
