Since graduating from university in 1995, Li Jian-hua has devoted himself to airport construction. Now at 49, he is the deputy director and project manager of the Beijing Daxing International Airport construction project of Beijing Urban Construction Group.

From Terminal 2, Terminal 3 to Beijing Daxing International Airport, he is the witness of the three generations of China’s “gateway”. The new airport will open to traffic before this year's National Day holiday, which he feels is his biggest achievement.
