Pal Schmitt, former president of Hungary, is in Beijing for the Olympic Winter Games as he is still a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

The two-time Olympic champion fencer has embraced the motto of the Games -- "Together for a Shared Future" -- and hopes to personally award a medal to the Chinese-Hungarian speed skater brothers Liu Shaolin and Liu Shaoang.
