This is the first time that American design and architecture firm Gensler attended the China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai.

The company is eyeing opportunities from China's goal of peaking its carbon dioxide emissions before 2030 and achieving carbon neutrality before 2060.

Gensler has incorporated low-carbon ideas into the design of interior spaces, including lighting and even the arrangement of plants.
