In 2015, a teacher from Tianjin went to support the education system in Hotan, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, through China's pairing assistance program. Three years later, after she finished her tenure, she found herself in love with this region. The teacher decided to devote the rest of her life to the development of local education as she believes that with a better education, the next generation can bring a thriving future to Xinjiang.
