The 800-year-old shipwreck Nanhai I is one of the biggest and best-preserved ancient trade ships found in the world.
It is regarded as a "time capsule" reflecting the society of the Song Dynasty (960-1279) in many aspects.
Discovered in the South China Sea in 1987 and salvaged in 2007, Nanhai I is now preserved in the Maritime Silk Road Museum of Guangdong.
So far, more than 180,000 pieces (sets) of relics were retrieved, revealing stories of the ancient Maritime Silk Road.
