North China's Tianjin Municipality is considered by many as one of the birthplaces of China's modern Olympic sports.

Follow Xinhua correspondent and explore the Tianjin Sports Museum to see the inseparable bond between the city and sports.

The Tianjin Sports Museum is located in the Tianjin Minyuan Stadium, which has a history of about 100 years. It was officially opened to the public in 2017.

The museum has three exhibition halls with more than 4,000 pieces of various collections, including sports equipment, Olympic medals, competition clothing and so forth, displaying history of sports in Tianjin and disseminating Olympic culture.

It attracts a large number of domestic and foreign tourists to visit.
