A chorus of 80 students from the Wuxi Children's Palace gave special performances at tourist attractions in Wuxi, Jiangsu province, on May 5, marking the upcoming 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.

Singers and visitors, from toddlers to grandparents, undulated and waved Chinese flags while singing Sing a Ballad for the Party in Huishan Ancient Town and at Longguang Tower in Xishan district.

The modern repertoire represents people's blessings for the centennial birthday of the CPC and the desire of local people in Wuxi to pursue a better life, said the event's arranger Fang Bing.

The event was filmed so that more people could witness it and learn revolutionary history and culture in China.

Wang Weishu, head of the children's chorus, said that the event provided children from 6 to 18 years old with a memorable experience and taught them about the Party history.
