Yizhou in China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region is a major silkworm rearing base, with almost every household engaged in production. But some underfunded families can only resort to traditional inefficient production methods. Thanks to a series of beneficial policies by the local government, large-scale industrialized silkworm rearing has been vigorously promoted, greatly boosting the income for local impoverished villagers.
