How train takes ferry to cross strait in south China?

The Guangdong-Hainan railway, China's first cross-sea rail line, connects the island province of Hainan with Guangdong in South China by train ferry service. Those 10,000-ton ferries carry the detached train carriages across the Qiongzhou Strait, covering a distance of about 12.5 nautical miles.
