Laoniuwan Valley, where the Great Wall meets the Yellow River, is located at the border of North China's Shanxi Province and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. 

It is considered one of the most beautiful valleys in China.  

Due to underdeveloped transport infrastructure, tourism in Laoniuwan Village has lagged behind other famed destinations.  

Through a decade of hard work, the village has been transformed into a popular tourist attraction, having welcomed over 800,000 domestic and foreign visitors. 

With the encouragement and support of local government, more young people now have the opportunity to start their own businesses locally.

Besides, the entire village has managed to exit the constraints of poverty.
