China-Israel (Jiuquan) green ecological industrial park in Jiuquan, Northwestern China's Gansu province, applies Israel's advanced irrigation technology and develops soilless farming technology.

The intelligent multi-span greenhouses in the park cover 110,000 square meters, and each greenhouse is spread over 20,000 square meters.

Since the soil is not suitable to cultivate, precision agriculture needs to be developed. All vegetables are planted in organic bags.

The park has also introduced Israel's technology - drip irrigation of water and fertilizer.

With this technology, 600 square meters of greenhouse can save 2000 to 3000 square meters of land, saving 40 percent water and 30 percent fertilizer compared to the past, said an official from Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs in Suzhou District, Jiuquan.

Cherry tomatoes are planted in one of the greenhouses. Its output can reach 45kg per square meter.

The industrial park will gradually promote high-efficiency water-saving irrigation technology and equipment manufacturing to other regions in Gansu province and Central Asian and West Asian countries.
