
Hui Jiangtao, a bus driver in his forties in Tianjin, has, over his past 22-year-long career,devoted himself to creating a pleasant journey for his millions of passengers.
Up to date, he has kept a perfect record of zero violations of traffic rules, accidents, and complaints during his total 800,000 miles of driving.
He has been committed to improving services to meet improving services' needs. "Passengers' needs are the directions of my efforts. If you wish for passengers to be satisfied with your service, you need to be ready to explore and identify their needs.”

Once, he found that elderly people were having difficulties in taking their medicine as they forgot to bring water with them, therefore, he prepared a barrel of potable water and convenient cups on his bus. He has also initiated a further 32 measures with the aim of facilitating services for the disabled, the pregnant and those in need.
He has even installed an AED cardiopulmonary resuscitation machine on his bus, a piloting move in the city.
To provide a comfortable environment on his bus, he cleans it everyday regardless of any adverse weather conditions. Passengers can expect a warm, relaxing and clean journey on his bus.

In 2014, Hui initiated a volunteer team, mainly consisting of public transportation staff, and over the past seven years, they have carried out seven voluntary service projects to help those in need. At present, over 200 disabled people, and more than 1,000 elderly people have received their help.
They have also contributed to the fight against poverty and have helped to sell almost 200,000 yuan($30,768)-worth of agricultural products from impoverished areas.
