Chen Shaohui, 39, started to engage in the beekeeping industry at the age of 16 and now has become a famous beekeeping specialist. In 2009, Chen founded a beekeeping cooperative, where he teaches his fellow villagers the beekeeping skills and purchase their honey at a guaranteed price. Besides, Chen has made efforts to expand sales channels of bee products, which are sold both online and offline with positive market feedback. Over 20 households have shaken off poverty with his help.
