China's first tropical marine ranch in Wuzhizhou Island

The marine ranch in the sea area of Wuzhizhou Island in Sanya, Hainan Province, is China's first tropical marine ranch.

In recent years, the marine ranch has successively carried out artificial reef laying, marine environment restoration and coral transplantation, gradually promoting the protection and restoration of the marine ecosystem.

By the end of 2019, a total of 1,526 artificial fishing reefs of various types, 21 ship reefs and a batch of volcanic rock reefs have been laid in the marine ranch off Wuzhizhou Island.
