An airport safety inspector from Xi'an, capital of northwest China's Shaanxi Province, has worked hard at her job and set an outstanding example for her colleagues.
Sun Ping, returned to her hometown to work in Xi'an Xianyang International Airport after having worked three and a half years in southeastern China's city Xiamen in 2013.
Starting with a new position, she has seized every opportunity to learn from others in her work and actively participated in training for job skills, hoping to find her own shortcomings by taking part in competitions.
Sun participated in an security inspection contest held by China West Airport Group after nearly three months of training in October 2017.
The following month, Sun and three of her other colleagues were selected to represent the Group to take part in the finals of the National Civil Aviation Security Check Skills Competition held in southwest China’s city Guiyang.
Thanks to Sun's outstanding performance, the team achieved a strong result and Sun was awarded the titles of National Civil Aviation Youth Expert and National Civil Aviation Gold Medal Employee.
She has always been full of enthusiasm for work, wearing a kind smile on her face. Her optimistic attitude and meticulousness has encouraged every other employee in her team.
As a team manager, Sun attaches importance to the training of team members' ability and cares for their daily work and life.
On June 26, Sun, as a deputy, attended the 18th National Congress of the Communist Youth League in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
